The last leg of my Asia Pacific tour was spent in the Republic of Palau. The tiny island country is located southeast of the Philippines and northwest of Papua New Guinea. While I enjoyed the visit to Tokyo, Hong Kong, and Guam, the time spent in Palau was definitely my favorite.
It was great to be away from commercialized buildings, busy streets, and most of all, technology. Instead, the scenary was replaced with winding roads, lush forest, and crystal clear waters. Not being able to check Facebook on my smartphone was quite liberating and I didn’t miss it at all. I’ll let the pictures do the talking.
